A letter from Pastor Carnes
Dear Friend,

Hebrews chapter 11 is one of the most interesting chapters in the entire Bible.  Known as the “Faith” chapter, it provides a challenge every time it is read. The first two verses say, “Now faith is being sure (confident ) of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients (Saints) were commended for”.

This chapter spoke deeply to me this week, especially the verses mentioned above. I’ll ask you what the Lord asked me, “How is your faith? Of what are you hoping for? As you pray about these things how confident are you in the Lord’s response? For what are you praying in regards to your personal life? Your family? Church? When was the last time anyone commended you for your faith?”

I challenge you to read Hebrews 11:1 & 2 and read the previous paragraph over and over allowing the Holy Spirit to work in your life. We have a desire to build a great church for God. That will only happen when we allow God to work within and make us a people of faith.

Please let me know if I can be of service to you or a member of your family.
